Citroen changing its double chevron emblem

This year Citroen will mark its 90th anniversary and is preparing to do it in style by bringing in a fresh appearance for the well-known double chevron emblem. The present design, highlighting a red square with the brand name written beside it in black, is due to make way next month for a shape much nearer to the original Citroen, curvier badge. Originally presented on the outstanding GT concept vehicle, drivers have little to wait to see the logo in the metal, as it is scheduled to sport the keenly awaited C3 Picasso supermini-MPV, set to be on sale here in March 2009.
