Citroen DS3 ‘So Quick’: 200 hp hatchback in the works

There will be a fourth trim level, called So Quick, which will be added to Citroen's new DS3's other trim levels -- Chic, So Chic and Sport Chic, according to a Automobile Magazine. Each of them will have different equipment and engine configurations but it's believed that the fourth will be a new and more powerful version of the DS3 that would bring the final output somewhere around 200 horsepower. Official details have not been released but the publication's source says that power will come from a 1.6-liter gasoline engine. Pricing will probably be higher as compared to the existing trim levels.
Citroen's DS3 model will officially go on sale in France in January, with prices to start at 15,400 euro. Initially, the range will include a total of five engines, gasoline - 1.4-liter 95 hp, 1.6-liter 120 bhp and 1.6-liter 150 hp - and diesel - 1.6-liter HDi with either 90 or 110 hp. The top-of-the-range Sport Chic level will have automatic climate, sports seats with Alcantara, 17-inch wheels and aluminum pedals.
The roof of the DS3 can be painted in four colors to contrast the body: Onyx black, Opale white, Botticelli blue and Carmen rouge. Furthermore, the rearview mirror housing and door sills can also be colored or chromed while the wheels and wheel center are also available in a wide array of paintings.
