It's been almost two years since the reveal of the Citroen C-Cactus Concept and now it seems the company is really thinking in a production version of the eco-friendly car. Though its concept is entirely eco and it should receive a diesel hybrid powertrain, Citroen is considering adding a conventional gas or diesel engine is the car should get in production and be released in the market. The C-Cactus pioneered innovations like the use of recycled materials and the low amount of raw materials necessary to assemble the vehicle. Its fuel-efficient powertrain, a a three-cylinder engine featuring stop/start technology would emit less than 100 grams of CO2 per mile.
