Citroen released the first images and details for the brand new DS3 Cabrio, which will have its world premiere later this month at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. At 3.95m long, 1.71m wide and 1.46 m high, the new Citroen DS3 Cabrio promises to retain its compact and agile proportions. The new soft-top roof is now a new source of personalization and according to the official press release this will be available in a range of colours and designs that add to the model’s unique personality. The interior can also be customize and Citroen offers six decors: grey, Brillant black, white, Carbotech, Infinite blue and Moondust grey. For those who don’t know, decors on the dashboard strip, air vent surrounds and gear stick knob are also colour-coded to the body paint and soft-top. The 2013 DS3 Cabrio can take its roof down in just 16 seconds and up to speeds of 120 km/h or 75 mph. The roof can be opened in three positions: intermediate, horizontal and total. When the roof is opened, an aerodynamic deflector net springs up to provide optimum acoustic comfort by deflecting air currents and preventing air buffeting.
