For those of you who dream to race in rallies, you can now choose the new Clio Renault R3 Access which made use of the R3 Maxi technology to release a very competitive and powerful Access version. Clio Renault Sport R3 Access is the new entry level version of the model developed for customers wishing to compete in rallies. Renault Sport Technologies has used the R3 Maxi as a base to produce an extremely competitive Access version which has opened up the world of rallying to an even broader audience.
The car received the 1,998cc F4R RS engine which features 4 cylinders in line and 16 valves and can produce 200 hp. Being produced only for asphalt races there was no need to change suspensions, still the new model received Bilstein dampers all-round and takes advantage from the high performance braking system, with standard front discs and four-piston Brembo calipers.
The package includes also the Sabelt safety equipment and the same one-piece aluminum alloy 7x17inch Speedline wheels and Michelin 19/62-17 tires present also on the Clio Renault Sport R3 Maxi. The R3 Access package can be achieved at a starting price of €2,600 (or $45,130) in France.
