Corvette Z06 Biturbo by Geiger
The updated Corvette platform, which is offered in stock trim from subtle to extreme, comes with remarkable capabilities as it easily adapts to revisions providing outstanding performance. This is what Geiger has done with the Corvette Z06 biTURBO.
The modifications involved the cylinder block, heads and crank, while the displacement of the 7.0-liter LS7 was raised to 7.6-liters. The team at Geiger proceeded to install a couple of high-yield turbochargers and an additional airflow at both the intake and exhaust ends to squeeze out the maximum capabilities of the powerplant. The consequence is an 890hp (664kW) at 6,100rpm and 694lb-ft (940Nm) of top torque at 4,500rpm. These numbers, Geiger claims, will propel the car to 220mph (354km/h). More details and photos after the jump!
The modifications did not end there, however, as Geiger painted the biTURBO an extremely attractive shade of green finish. Other upgrades, which are for the purpose of accommodating the additional power and performance, includes a tougher transmission and dual-disc transmission in addition to a driveshaft of carbon fiber and tougher rear differential, larger tires measuring 285/30 and 345/25 wrapped around big black alloys, with StopTech brakes at the front measuring 380×32 and at the rear measuring 355×25 for precise stopping power.
The handling upgrade is completed with shocks that were specially tuned by Geiger, higher rate springs and anti-roll bars. The car received a lower and more menacing appearance through the GT body kit by Geiger, which also help the turbochargers ventilate.
