Customized Ford Focus and Fiesta models coming to 2011 SEMA Show

Ford - 2011 SEMA Show

For the upcoming SEMA Show, Ford will be displaying at least seven customized versions of the 2012 Ford Focus to demonstrate how the hatch and sedan models could be personalized. Compact car marketing manager Mike Murphy said that the car is targeted at millennials who like to “personalize every aspect of their lives.” Ford will also present the 2011 Fiesta at SEMA.

Ford global car marketing manager Lew Echlin said that a match to the customer's personality is included in the top three reasons for buying a vehicle. He explained that a major percentage of millennials even go as far as naming their car.

A variety of old and new Ford models will be seen at SEMA, including show vehicles from the Fiesta as well as the Super Duty. The new 363-inch Ford Racing stroker engine and its latest licensed restoration part for classic (1964-66) Mustang fans will be seen too.
