It‚ funny how the DeLorean Motor Company is often described as a brand without a car and the Pontiac Solstice as a car without a brand. With the closure of both Pontiac and Saturn, the small RWD platform is left without a home. GM's Wilmington , Delaware plant also doesn‚Äôt have anything to make.
The new DeLorean Motor Company is producing a small series of upgraded second generation cars. James Espey, Vice President of the DeLorean Motor Company, said that the “connection between JZD and Pontiac is probably one of the better known associations among car enthusiasts." These drawings were released by the company. For evaluation, it has even acquired a Pontiac Solstice GXP Coupe. This news is definitely good for the workers at the Wilmington plant. What remains unknown is the capital required to acquire the plant and the source for this funding. Photo gallery after the jump!
