2010 Dodge Nitro
Several revisions have been made on the 2010 Dodge Nitro lineup by Chrysler. Its three models have been renamed into Heat, Detonator and Shock. Features of the 2010 Nitro lineup include the 4.0l overhead cam V6 engine, which generates 260hp and 359 Nm of torque. The Nitro Heat is capable of producing 23% more horsepower and 12% more torque than the previous entry-level model.This lineup also has been equipped with 20-inch painted Mopar aluminum wheels and body-color grille with bright billets, in addition to the standard equipment which includes eight premium speakers with a 368-watt amplifier and 9-inch subwoofer, deep-tinted glass, Uconnect Phone, iPod Control, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, speed control and security alarm.
The Heat is priced at $23,995 (including $745 destination). The Detonator, which is priced at $25,995 (including $745 destination), comes with a hood decal, eight speakers plus subwoofer, remote start, ParkSense rear-park assist and color-keyed premium cloth interior that matches the exterior paint color.
At the top of this range is the Dodge Shock, which is priced at $26,995 (including $745 destination). Added features include the leather seats and a sun roof to the Nitro Detonator model. These models will be available starting in the first quarter of 2010. There are nine exterior colors to choose from, including the Detonator Yellow Clear Coat, which will become available later in the year.
