Detroit Auto Show: Vw Touareg Lux Limited

Volkswagen unveiled today at the Detroit Auto Show its new Touareg SUV powered by the 3.0L V6 TDI engine capable to deliver 225 hp and 406lb-ft (550Nm) of torque. The new vehicle provides a fuel efficiency of 18 mpg (13.7 l/100 km) in the city and 25 mpg (9.4 l/100 km) on the highway.In parallel with this vehicle Vw brings also the Touareg Lux Limited which will be powered by the 3.0L V6 TDI engine but also by two advanced gasoline engines: a V6 FSI (206 kW / 280 hp) and a V8 FSI (257 kW / 350 hp). The exterior of the vehicle will feature 20-inch alloy wheels ("Ayers Rock" type) but also a new styling package which includes new side skirts, customized front and rear aprons and a color lineup customized for the limited edition. The new Lux Limited Edition will come in 4 colors: "Biscay blue", "Black magic pearl effect", "Campanella white" and "Galapagos gray".Inside, the vehicles is offered with a big list of standard features such as two-tone leather interior available in two versions: Version 1: Cricket leather in the color combination "Latte Macchiato / St. Tropez white"; where the center seat panels are kept in white. In this case, the interior accents are in "Poplar grain" decor. Version 2: Cricket leather in "Anthracite / St. Tropez white". An "Engine spin dark" decor with a metallic look and feel is used here.
