2012 Chrysler 200 Super S gets sportier at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

The Chrysler 200 Super S made its debut at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show and left some of us impressed. The car shows a new large chin spoiler, new stain chrome fog lights trim, satin chrome grille surround and a mesh in the upper and lower grilles. The upper grille is offered in gloss black with a recessed Chrysler wing badge. Moreover, the Super S features new side sills, satin chrome belt molding, black chrome “200” badges and gray or hyper black 18-inch “S” alloy wheels.

The rear end is completed by a new trunk lid spoiler, satin chrome light bar and a matte black lower diffuser with attached exhaust openings. Furthermore, the car also features a coil-over suspension, a cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust.The 2012 Chrysler 200 sedan has an impressive style and performance but it offers all these at an amazing value.

The 2012 Chrysler 200 offers drivers with an agile and confident handling performance in all driving situations, whether it's driving to work, going to a weekend trip on winding roads, or simply going out with loved ones. The 2012 Chrysler 200 is powered by the 2.4-liter World Gas Engine. It is available while mated to a four-speed or six-speed automatic transmission.

As a result, the driving experience is nothing short of wonderful, with its high fuel efficiency and fun factor. The 2.4-liter I-4 engine offers 173hp (129 kW) and 166 lb.-ft. (225 Nm) of torque and it has an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 21 miles per gallon (mpg) city and 30 mpg highway when coupled to the four-speed automatic transmission and 20 mpg city and 31 mpg highway when coupled to the six-speed automatic transmission.

The new 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine is mated to the 62TE six-speed automatic transmission and has an output of 283hp (211 kW) and 260 lb.-ft. (353 Nm) of torque. It boasts an EPA estimated fuel economy rating of 19 mpg city and 29 mpg highway.

Chrysler 200 gives customers several connectivity innovations as well as new elements that make the drive more fun. These features include the new Chrysler steering wheel that has the embedded controls that allow the driver to manage cruise control, handsfree phone, and the radio as well as other functions without taking their eyes off the road. You also get ambient interior lighting. You can also opt to add the optional media center that features voice command, radio, a 30 GB hard drive, SIRIUS Satellite Radio, streaming music capability, navigation system, and iPod connectivity.

There is also a wide range of security and safety features in the 2011 Chrysler 200 that help give buyers the peace of mind they need at a price that they will love. The safety features included in every Chrysler 200 are front passenger airbags, electronic stability control, active head restraints, side curtain airbags, front seat side airbags, electronic traction control, four-wheel anti-lock brakes, lower anchors and tethers for children. You can also opt to add the Uconnect voice command.

There are four different configurations for the 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan for the American market: the Chrysler 200 LX, 200 Limited, 200 S, and 200 Touring models are very stylish with innovative features and gives you a fun driving experience.

Chrysler 200 belongs to the medium sized sedan segment that saw at least 1.6 million vehicles sold just in 2009, making it the biggest segment in the US. The 2011 Chrysler 200 provides customers with a worthy alternative at a value they would love.
