Detroit Preview: 2010 Jaguar XFR

Finally, the Jaguar XFR is here! The new vehicle from the British manufacturer has been designed especially to compete with cars such as Audi RS6, Bmw M5 or the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG. Ok now, enough with the preview, let's get in the car. Under the hood the vehicle comes with a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine capable to deliver an impressive 510 hp and 625 Nm or 460 lb.ft of torque.

With this amount of power the vehicle hits 60 mph in just 4.7 seconds ( 0-100km/h in 4.9 seconds ), while the top speed is limited to 155 mph or 250 km/h.

Of course, with these numbers the car has to be able to stop in time and due to the larger ventilated disc brakes found under the 20 inch Nevis alloy wheels the car is safer than ever. At the exterior the new body kit continues the line of the 510 hp with the new front bumper, a new stylish and mean hood with two air ducts, new front fenders, side sills, a rear bootlid spoiler and a new rear bumper with integrated 4-pipe exhaust system.

At the interior, the dashboard comes with a dark aluminium trim level, sport buckets featuring the logo and a sport steering wheel. The new Jaguar XFR will be available in eight colors: Botanical Green, Indigo, Kyanite Blue, Liquid Silver, Lunar Grey, Porcelain and Salsa. Unfortunately we have no data regarding its price but as soon as we will find out something we will let you know!
