Detroit Preview: Jeep Wrangler Islander

Jeep Wrangler Islander

Who's up for open-air fun? The Islander theme can again be seen on the Jeep after more than 20 years of absence. The limited-edition Jeep Wrangler Islander is available on Wrangler, Wrangler Unlimited 4x4 models and will make its official debut at this year's Detroit Auto Show. The Islander is anything but dull. For its exterior, we see an Islander "Tiki Bob" decal on the hood with latitude and longitude coordinates that represent an actual location relating to the "Islander" theme of the vehicle. There are blackside steps and Moab 17-inch wheels shod with 32-inch tires. For its interior, the Islander's seats are Dark Gray with Surf Blue inserts, blue stitching and an embroidered Islander "Tiki Bob" logo adorning the seat back. Blue stitching is noticeable on the leather-wrapped steering wheel and there are Mopar rubber floor mats completing the beach theme. The Jeep Wrangler Islander is available in Surf Blue Pearl Coat, Stone White Clear Coat, Bright Sliver Metallic Clear Coat and Brilliant Black Crystal Clear Coat. The Islande's option package is being offered with a US Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,120.
