Devon GTX Supercar sets one-lap record at Laguna Seca

The all-new Devon GTX supercar is already recognized for its breakthrough design but after having recorded a lap record time of 1:35.075 during testing, it proved that it could stand on its own with the world‚ best supercars. The Devon GTX recorded this production car lap time at the Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca.
The achievement is especially significant since this is the first vehicle from California-based industrial design house Devon Motorworks. The car will make its debut at the Pebble Beach Councours d'Elegance on August 15, 2009. Devon Motorworks CEO and founder Scott Devon said that the Laguna Seca test session gave only a glimpse of what the Devon GTX is capable of from a performance perspective. He expressed confidence that the car is capable of even greater lap times and he will prove it with further validation and testing.Photo gallery after the jump!
