The tuning specialists were able to boost the engine by 113hp, not by forced induction but by natural aspiration. The Dinan S3-R M3 can produce 527hp and 407 lb-ft of torque due Dinan's efforts to increase the V8's displacement. The 4.0 liter powerplant has been bored and stroked, gaining 608 cc. For improved breathing, the car was given a carbon fiber high flow intake and bored out high glow throttle bodies. Its engine's exhaust system was also given a racing middle section and a high flow overall design. Dinan Cars fitted the S3-R M3 with a new suspension system, which consisted of new springs, new front anti-sway bar, carbon fiber strut braces and racing rear toe links. The car rides on bespoke lightweight rims (with each weighing only 19 lbs) that are wrapped in high performance tires. The front ones are sized 275/30, while the power-delivering rear ones come in a 295/30 size. A special warranty pack is offered with the kit, matching BMW North America's 4 years / 50,000 miles warranty.
