Dodge is credited for turning the Viper into one of the most factory-customized vehicles in recent years. Production of the current generation Viper will soon but not before Dodge has released numerous special editions and exclusive examples of the supercar. There are special Vipers that were a tribute to the top dealers; there was also the ACR-X model intended for racing. Actually, the racing car has its own motorsport series, the Dodge Viper Cup Series. The championship resulted to the creation of a crazy Viper too. Dodge also made a bespoke version for the hardcore version of the road-legal Viper, the ACR (American Club Racer).
Autoweek reports that Dodge's top-selling dealer, Woodhouse Dodge (located in Blair, Nebraska) requested the company to take the roof of the Viper ACR. Dodge's SRT division produced the Viper ACR convertible, giving the dealer a limited production of 20 examples.
Dubbed the Viper SRT10 Convertible ACR Woodhouse limited edition, the car was a complicated task to complete. Dodge engineers had to make up for the topless version's less aerodynamic and rigid body. The vehicle was given an adjustable suspension, new brakes and rims, as well as a modified gearbox. However, the best feature on the vehicle is its new aerodynamic package.
