Donington Park and Silverstone could end up sharing the British GP

British GPDonington Park and Silverstone could end up sharing the British Grand Prix, according to Bernie Ecclestone in an interview with The Independent. Donington Park is currently being pressured to raise £80 million to upgrade its facilities. Ecclestone said that Silverstone can help out in that respect. Last month, FIA president Max Mosley and Ecclestone dropped hints about a British GP reprieve for Silverstone. However, Damon Hill, president of the British Racing Drivers' Club that owns Silverstone, said that he is not in favor of rotation, calling it an insult and as another step to squeeze profit for the commercial rights holder.
