Driver gets drunk and forgets where he parked his Lamborghini

This is not a joke! Apparently, Glenn Knowles, 35, and the co-owner of the car, Richard Mant, 39, were accused of trying to swindle an insurance company over the disappearance of their $240,000 Lamborghini. But the surprise came from the jury, who accepted Knowles' claim that he has no idea what happened to the Lambo. Simon Connolly, prosecuting, said: "This is a car that was reported stolen at a time when it was obviously still in their possession. They are two young men who tried to con the insurance company and the police."

But after a six day trial, the jury finally accepted the man's version that he simply doesn't know where his car is. It appears that the main reason the man had been acquitted is that this is not the first expensive car he had lost in similar drunken circumstances.

In a previous night, the man couldn't find his Mercedes-Benz, but after an extensive search, the car was found parked behind a nightclub. The only problem is that the vehicle was fitted with a tracking device. The truth or the car will appear in the future -- that's for sure! [via telegraph]
