This is the Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG Kompressor “Edition 79″! Designed exclusively for the Middle East, the special edition is a reference to the sales start of the series in 1979 and comes in a special “designo magno alanite grey” paint finish (used also on the SLS AMG).

But this is not all! The G 55 AMG also comes with a crash bar at the front, carbon-look side trim strips, 19-inch AMG wheels in a titanium finish as well as chromed protective grilles for the front indicators, tail lights and the underguard. Inside we find eyecatching features such as designo leather seats in black/sand, high-quality, solid carbon-fibre trim and the Edition logo “1 out of 79″ positioned in front of the selector lever. The new edition will be limited to just 75 units and if you really want one you’d better fly to the Dubai Motor Show and order one!
