Dubai Motor Show: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Desert Gold

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is the highlight of this year‚ Dubai International Motor Show due to the fact that it will be on display in a stunning gold paint finish.
Dubbed "AMG Desert Gold", the car features a matt gold paint, completed by the striking highlights in high-gloss black but also by the black-painted AMG light-alloy wheels in size 9.5 x 19 at the front and 11.0 x 20 at the rear (featuring a stylish golden ring on the rim flange). Although the vehicle has only been used for the display vehicle at the Dubai International Motor Show, it appears that customers are already interested in this edition and the manufacturer is considering to offer this paint as an individual optional extra. For those who don’t know, the German manufacturer already offers two matt paint finishes: AMG Monza grey magno" and "designo magno alanite grey". Inside, the "AMG Desert Gold" comes with a sporty black colour, AMG sports bucket seats corresponding with the solid carbon-fibre centre console as well as other carbon-fibre interior features. Under the hood we find the same 6.3-liter V8 engine capable to deliver 571 hp (420 kW). Photo gallery after the jump!
