Whether you like or or not, the European Business Press Federation (EBP) has jut named Luca di Montezemolo "European Manager of the Year" for 2012. The association of Europe's leading economic and finance publications celebrates its 50th anniversary this year and is made up of 48 of Europe's leading business newspapers and magazines from 27 nations. Some of its members include The Wall Street Journal Europe, Handelsblatt, Les Echos and Milano Finanza. Apparently, the reason to give the 2012 award to Luca di Montezemolo was because he has done an extraordinary work at Ferrari since 1991 when he took command. Another achievement was to expand the well-known Italian brand around the world and not the Prancing Horse is present in 60 countries worldwide. Moreover, Montezemolo also improved the quality of life of workers at the Maranello facility and now the factory became a symbol of excellence.
