Electric Rolls-Royce Phantom in the works

According to the latest reports, it appears the Rolls-Royce is currently preparing an electric version of the Phantom sedan. These words came from Rolls-Royce spokesman, Mr. Richard Carter who added that the Phantom is the ideal car to get an electric propulsion because these type of cars are not used for long distances.
Regarding the technical part, Mr. Richard Carter didn´t want to say anything but it appears that the green technology is going to be borrowed from parent company BMW. The new car will be offered of course for an impressive price, but let's be honest, does the price matters when you buy a Rolls-Royce?
