Entry-level Audi TT Roadster released in the UK

It was announced that the Audi TT Roadster will come with a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. The latest entry-level TT Roadster 1.8 TFSI utilizes a similar motor currently servicing the A3, A3 Cabriolet and A4. In the TT Roadster it will come with 158bhp and 184lb-ft which will carry the car to a sprint rating of 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds on to a maximum speed of 139mph. The engine provides the car with fuel economy of 40.9mpg in the combined cycle, and a CO2 emission rating of 159g/km (compared with the 2.0 TFSI of 36.2mpg and 186g/km). Available in Front-Wheel-Drive only, the Audi TT Roadster 1.8 TFSI comes with only one trim level consisting of 17 inch Y-design alloy wheels. The Roadster, which is available now with deliveries beginning in April, comes with a 23,910 Pound price tag (3,445 less than the 2.0 TFSI).
