Falcon Motor Sports of Holly, Michigan, aims to compete with some leading supercar manufacturers with its Falcon F7. Falcon is very proud of the specifications of the F7, which is powered by a hand-assembled 7-liter naturally aspirated all-aluminumV-8 that coughs out 620-hp. "Unlike engines featuring forced induction, the 7-liter responds with a linear elasticity that brings joy to the finely tuned senses of the true enthusiast," said Falcon spokesman Jeff Lemke.
The engine is located low and longitudinally amidships, and is connected to a 6-speed manual transaxle. Lemke said the F7's edge over other modern supercars is that it is not controlled by computers, making it suitable only for highly skilled drivers.
Lemke said they project the F7 to have an acceleration of 0-60 mph in 3.3-3.6 seconds, and to reach a top speed of 190-200 mph. Lemke has invited new customers who can participate in testing the F7. [source: DetroitNews]
