These are the first official pictures of Fenix Automotive's all-new supercar. The name may still not be familiar with you but you probably know Lee Noble, the founder of the Noble brand. Fenix is Lee Noble's brainchild and we should expect its first car to be launched in the UK in the second half of the year. Currently, the prototype is being built in South Africa but eventually, the development will transfer to the UK. Noble describes the car to be the spiritual successor to the iconic M12, describing it as a "natural, but even more focused" follow-up to that car. Noble said that the Fenix supercar has a design that's an improvement over the M12. He said that the new car's styling "owes nothing" to what he has done before that the started with a "clean sheet". He said that the new car is edgy, has powerful lines, and is in another league aerodynamically compared to his previous cars. The 1200kg supercar will be offered with a choice of two engines. The flagship would be GM's 6.2-liter LS9 V8 engine from the Corvette ZR1. The car is powered by a 638bhp engine, which gives the car the ability to go from 0 to 100mph in less than seven seconds and reach a top speed of more than 200mph. The other engine on offer will be a LS3 V8 GM unit, which can generate 480bhp. Early price indications from Fenix claim the car will cost around £70,000. Noble says that the Fenix's first car will likely be tested in the UK.
