They said that in Italy, the base version of the Ferrari Enzo replacement will be priced at an estimated 1.21 million euros after taxes. They said that there will only be 499 units produced, a hundred higher than the Enzo. Ferrari is increasing the volume to cope with the rising demand for the brand in Asia, especially China. When the Enzo was launched in Italy in 2002, it was priced from 665,000 euros with taxes. Now, these used Enzo models could sell for over 1 million. Ferrari didn’t disclose the price or volume figures for the still-to-be-named Enzo replacement, which is referred to by its code-name, F150 project. In addition, the Fiat SpA subsidiary is not releasing any official images of the gasoline-electric hybrid, which is presently on display at its Maranello headquarters before it makes its global debut on March 5 at the Geneva auto show. However, it confirmed that the replacement for the Enzo will exceed the F12 Berlinetta's output of 740 hp. While testing, Ferrari said that its HY-KERS hybrid has reduced fuel consumption by around 40%. Furthermore, this system cut short its 0 to 200kph acceleration time from 8.5 seconds to 5.5 seconds compared with a comparable model without the system. A carbon fiber chassis will be used by the new Ferrari. It’s likely to keep down the weight of this car as close as possible to the Enzo's 1,365kg (3,009 pounds).
