"Fiat 500 expected to arrive in the U.S. within 18 months." The last Fiat model to have been driven on the streets of the US was twenty or so years ago, but there's a new model that's about to hit US roads: the latest Fiat 500 is expected to arrive within 18 months. This has been made possible through the partnership with Chrysler, but the car will not be badged as a Chrysler, only as a Fiat when it hits the US markets. Other models, however, will be sold under the Chrysler brands such as Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep. Fiat expects the 500 to do well in the US, as much as the Mini did. Chrysler is planning to create about six small and mid-sized models of its own that it will pattern after the Fiat models. This has been said to clarify false notions that say Chrysler is just going to rebadge the Fiat Bravo that it's going to build.
