Fiat interested in acquiring coachbuilder Carozzeria Bertone

The bid for taking over the Italian coachbuilder Carozzeria Bertone is still open until 16th of July. The latest offer came from Fiat but in the form of a separate direct buying offer, apart from the biding. Among the bidders announced until now there are names like FAW Group Corp, a Chinese car maker, Gianmario Rossignolo, an Italian entrepreneur and a Spanish consortium which didn't reveal its name. By the end of July the Italian bankruptcy court administrators is expected to announce who will win the bid and take over Bertone.
