Rumors of a resurrection of the Topolino brand has been going around for almost a year now, and this April Fiat made a bold move toward the process of creating the latest B-segment vehicle by purchasing a former Zastava plant in Serbia, and at present the latest data show that the most current vehicle will be aiming at newcomers like the Volkswagen Up! and Toyota iQ. A series of diminutives are anticipated to be produced under the Topolino flag, beginning with a compact two-seater that imitates the design of the original. It is anticipated that a four-seater will follow, together with the possibility of an up-market first-class version, although that vehicle would be sold as a Lancia.
