Fiat Qubo receives the eco:Drive system
Fiat is showing lots of interest in protecting the environment by enlarging the range of models to which the company is adding the eco:Drive in-car system. It is now time for the Qubo mini MPV to benefit from the new award-wining system. The eco fuel saving system was launched by the Italian company in 2008 and its purpose is show drivers the impact of their cars on the environment.
With the help of a USB memory stick, the drivers can download on the computer a recording of their style and find out how they can reduce de CO2 emissions and how they can save fuel, which means saving money in the end. The revolutionary system is already added on several Fiat vehicles such as 500, 500C, Grande Punto and Bravo. Continued after the jump!
The Qubo mini-MPV has 4 versions available with prices ranging between £9,755 to £12,350. All models are powered by two engines at choice, a 119 g/km CO2 1.3-L MultiJet turbodiesel and a dashing 1.4-L petrol. “We want our cars to be fun, but they must also be practical and environmentally-friendly.
Offering eco:Drive on Qubo will help to spread the benefits of this technology, helping drivers to improve their driving efficiency, saving fuel and reducing their impact on the environment”, says Andrew Humberstone, managing director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.
