Fiat to export Dodge Dart-based from China to Europe

Fiat mulls exporting two China-made compact cars to Europe, people privy to the matter told Automotive News Europe. Fiat and Chinese partner Guangzhou Automobile Co. will produce a new four-door sedan in Hunan, China. The company may start selling the Dodge Dart-based sedan and hatchback variant to eastern and northern Europe in 2013.
The hatchback variant is eyed to replace Fiat’s Bravo model, whose sales dropped 27% to 27,244 units from January to October 2011. F
