According to Fisker Boss Henrik Fisker the automotive industry is experiencing a rebirth where emerging carmakers are on the same footing as established brands. Fisker has come up with their competing car called the Karma which appears to come with a lot of performance promise and can be charged using a regular domestic electrical outlet. The Karma will hit the road next year while the carmaker is seeking to create a lower tagged, high-volume plug-in model that would eventually propel Fisker into the mainstream of the car industry. The carmaker has applied for government assistance with the DoE and if they are granted aid, the car could hit the road in 29 months and could be developed in the Pontiac, Michigan facility of the company.
