It doesn’t come as a surprise that Ford F-Series pickups had once again been named officially the “Hottest Truck” at the annual SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The award is given to the most popular vehicle that’s displayed in the trade show. Before the show opened this year, SEMA officials took a look at all the trucks shown in the booths of the massive aftermarket expo. The fact that there were more Ford F-Series pickups than any other truck model just proves how popular and appealing these trucks are with the aftermarket industry. Ken Czubay, Ford vice president, U.S. Marketing, Sales and Service, said that the company is “honored” that plenty of SEMA members use F-Series pickups to display their newest ideas and products at the show. Aside from aftermarket exhibitors, Ford also brought four F-Series trucks to the SEMA show to demonstrate just how versatile its F-150 and Super Duty pickups are.

Matchbox partnered with Superlift Suspensions to convert a Super Duty into the Matchbox Superlift Brush Truck. Superlift improved its off-road capability by fitting a 10-inch lift system on 41-inch Interco IROK tires. It was given a two-tone paint job composed of PPG Vibrance “Oh, So Orange” basecoat and accented with a contrasting satin black powder coat. This is a testament of how the truck is competent in fighting fires with its code-three emergency lights and sirens as well as a firefighting utility bed and equipment. Those who visited the Ford show stand were given a miniature die-cast version of the truck. The “Black Mamba” Super Duty displays the best in luxury and style with Hulst Customs-designed hood and grille with stainless steel mesh insert, Hulst Customs side rockers and lower front fascia with LED lighting by Radiantz. In addition, it has been fitted with suicide rear doors with Scissor Doors billet hinge kit. The exterior stands out with its planet Color custom black paint along with 3M Di-Noc™ stainless graphics. The highlights for the interior include Katzkin leather and Hulst Customs aluminum trim accents.
