Ford has launched the first special edition model of its new Fiesta, called Titanium Individual.

Orders can now be made for the Ford Fiesta Titanium Individual model that is priced from £15,145. The model is based on the top-of-the-range Titanium-spec Fiesta, with the addition of the premium leather Individual Series interior. Red and silver are the recurrent colors for the interior, which is designed to attract a younger set of buyers. This special edition is the most premium Fiesta.

Standard features include 16-inch alloy wheels and full Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. Buyers can choose from six exterior colors. Apparently, Ford realizes that part of the success of the Mini and Fiat 500 comes from customizable options and wants to raise its own appeal with the Individual Series interior options.

Ford's Mark Simpson said that in the first year, more than 100,000 Fiestas were sold. He said that the company has grasped the value of personalization and so it is offering the new lineup with the Individual special edition. Production, which will only be for two and a half months, will begin sometime at the end of October. The model is limited to a run of only 400 units.
