Ford Mondeo Econetic Titanium makes its debut

A new top-of-the-range Titanium spec model has been added to the Mondeo Econetic range -- the Ford Mondeo Titanium 2.0 115PS TDCi. Similar to the regular Econetic model, the car also gets the 113bhp 2.0 TDCi engine that boasts to have CO2 emissions of 139g/km and combined fuel economy of 54.3mpg. It has standard features that are found on the regular Titanium Mondeo, but with the addition of Econetic tweaks. A set of 16-inch lightweight alloys are standard, with the option of 17s. Additional features include an optimal gearchange indicator to try and maximize efficiency, aerodynamically optimized sports suspension and air deflectors and a rear spoiler for the five-door model. Pricing starts at £23,295 for the five-door and £24,545 for the estate.
