The 2014 Ford Mustang has received slight modifications compared to the previous model. Aside from being equipped with revised gauges, the latest Mustang version is also available with different colors and several new aesthetic packages. The 2014 model will not anymore come in Oxford White, Ruby Red Metallic, and School Bus Yellow options. Oxford White has been replaced with High Performance White while Ruby Red Metallic has been replaced with Red Candy Metallic. The discontinuation of the Mustang Boss 302 after 2013 means that its exclusive color -- School Bus Yellow – will end with it too. It has removed one visual trim package but there are two new ones offered for 2014. It also won’t be anymore available with the Exterior Appearance Package 101A, which featured tape stripes together with the lower door edge and a trunk spoiler.
The new models of the Ford Mustang V-6 range can be fitted with the FP6 Appearance Package, including black mirrors, a black trunk spoiler, quarter-window louver panels, and a set of 18-inch black aluminum wheels. It will have the same features as the FP8 Appearance Package for Mustang GTs but it will feature 19-inch wheels. Furthermore, the tachometer and speedometer of all the 2014 Ford Mustangs will have new graphics. The new car’s sticker prices are the same as last year, with the exception of the GT500. The 2014 Ford Mustang coupe has a starting price of $22,995, while the Mustang convertible is priced at $27,995.
The 2014 Mustang GT Premium coupe has a starting price of $35,545. Meanwhile, the 2014 Mustang Shelby GT500 coupe is now priced at $55,445, standing for a $450 increase over the price last year. The Shelby GT500 convertible is now also $450 more expensive to $60,445. A destination cost of $795 is included in all of these prices. This will be the present generation Ford Mustang’s last model year. An all-new version is eagerly anticipated. This will probably make its debut in early 2014. According to sources and the latest spy images, the 2015 Ford Mustang will feature a tapered nose, independent rear suspension, and wide-mouthed front-end styling that is reminiscent of the Ford Evos concept. It’s worth noting that in a previous report, it was revealed that Evos-inspired “Kinetic 2.0″ styling will be used by the 2015 Mustang, according to Ford’s Hau Thai-Tang.
