Honda’s dealerships throughout the U.S. have debuted the new four-cylinder, two-wheel-drive Honda Crosstour. The well-equipped Crosstour EX has a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $27,655 while the luxurious Crosstour EX-L Navi is priced at $32,805, including a destination and handling charge of $8101 for each vehicle. The four-cylinder Crosstour models are included in the current 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 Crosstour models.
Aside from offering added value to the Crosstour line, the new four-cylinder model offers an EPA-estimated fuel economy that raises 3 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway when compared to V-6-equipped models. John Mendel, executive vice president of American Honda Motor Co., Inc., said that the new four-cylinder Crosstour provides a sleek design, unrivaled passenger comfort and ingenious functionality with the pricing and fuel economy of a four-cylinder.
Mendel said that the Crosstour should be on each CUV buyer's shopping list with four-cylinder and V-6 options and a long list of standard features. The latest Crosstour is equipped with a 2.4-liter i-VTEC inline four-cylinder engine that delivers 192hp. It is offered in two trim levels, including the Crosstour EX and leather-upholstered Crosstour EX-L. A Honda Satellite-linked Navigation System3 is offered on the Crosstour EX-L. The four-cylinder Crosstour has an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 21 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, significantly higher than the 271hp 2WD V-6 model's EPA estimated 18 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.
