Frankfurt Motor Show: Hamann Largo based on Fiat 500

Hamann Largo Fiat 500

If you thought that Hamann is specialized only in tuning the most powerful cars in the world you have to reconsider this because the Germans unveiled at this year's Frankfurt Motor Show the new Fiat 500 Largo, a new customization program for the small hatchback. The new customization kit includes a new front bumper with integrated LED-lights, new wing extensions at the front and at the back meant to broaden the car body by impressive 30 millimetres at the front- and 35 millimetres at the back axle, new side sills, a new rear roof spoiler and a redesigned rear bumper with integrated air diffuser and 4-pipe exhaust system.

The kit is completed by the new Largo Forged Anodized wheels available in 8.0 x 18 for the front- and 9.0 x 18 for the rear axle wrapped in tyres measuring 215/35 ZR18 or 225/35 ZR18. A new suspension kit was also added in order to lower the car's centre of gravity by up to 60 mm. With the help of the sport exhaust system consisting in an end muffler with four round stainless steel pipes, a pre-muffler with a metal catalyser and a sport manifold the power of the engine was boosted to an impressive 265 hp at 5,630 rpm and 348 Nm at 4,200 rpm.

With these numbers, the car needed also a new braking system and the tuner installed a new set of of two perforated and internally ventilated brake discs (diameter 280 x 28mm) at the front axle in combination with red 4-piston brake callipers and steel-covered brake tubes (optionally, the back axle can be equipped with discs measuring 257 mm in diameter). Inside we find a new set of aluminium pedals and a door mat set with embroidered Hamann sportive logo.
