Eterniti Hemera teased again ahead of 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show

Article by Christian A., on September 6, 2011

The new British vehicle company Eterniti Motors will make its first public appearance on September 13 at the Frankfurt International Motor Show (IAA). Eterniti is an independent, boutique London-based luxury vehicle manufacturer that aims to cater to the emerging demand for additional luxury, personalized features as well as exclusivity among vehicle customers, specifically in major cities and global wealth centers.

Reflecting these goals is the company’s first vehicle, the Hemera, which will be the first Super-SUV in the world. The vehicle will provide new levels of performance, space and luxury in an SUV in order to establish a new niche.

The vehicle will showcase a limousine-like rear cabin with iPads, a drinks chiller and twin reclining seats. Aside from that, the vehicle is also practical while retaining driver appeal with its 4x4 ruggedness, dynamic performance and compact dimensions. The Hemera will be showcased in Frankfurt as a prototype. Production and deliveries are set for 2012.

The vehicle is based on the latest generation of the best large SUV platform available, undergoing a chassis-up rebuild, with carbon-composite body panels, a repackaged interior and additional performance. The company was founded by people with a passion for cars and is supported by a group of international investors.

The team has extensive experience in retailing some of the most prestigious European and British premium and high-performance vehicle brands, in markets from the UK to Asia-Pacific. It also has experience in the development and manufacture of high-end parts and motor sport. Alastair Macqueen led the engineering team. He was the one responsible for the development and production of the Jaguar XJ220 supercar.

Also, he has won the Le Mans 24-Hour race with both Bentley and Jaguar. The company has its very own F1 driver, Johnny Herbert, who was also victorious at Le Mans and the winner of three Grands Prix with a 10-year Formula 1 career. Herbert will be involved actively in the development of Eterniti vehicles and will serve as a brand ambassador.
