A new Ford S Max Concept is coming to the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) and the American manufacturer released the first photos and details. The new concept car features the latest Ford global design language and comes with a high mounted grille, stylish Organic LED headlamps and a front bonnet that sweeps into the sharply raked front screen.
The interior design is focused on the driver and offers a high-set instrument panel that cuts back in the centre console and creates a feeling of space. We also see an innovative interior roof designed that maximizes the feeling of spaciousness. Ford used high quality materials such as ultra-soft leather wrap for the instrument panel, and leather and carbon fibre detailing for the sculptured seats.
Under the hood, there is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine which will also be used by the 2014 Fusion, where it develops 178 hp and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque.
