Peugeot’s latest model, the new Peugeot 308, will have its global debut at the 65th Frankfurt Motor Show slated next month. The Peugeot 308 compact family hatchback is part of the carmaker’s 30-car exhibition that will showcase its ambitions and continued move up market. Peugeot will also unveil the ‘308 R Concept,’ a performance-oriented version of the C-segment challenger that is developed to drive up push customers’ expectations of the Peugeot brand.
The carmaker will also showcase its new ‘BlueHDi’ models that will feature Euro 6 diesel emissions control technology. Also sitting on Peugeot’s stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show are some of its recent winning cars like the Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak car and the Nürburgring 24hr endurance class-winning 208 GTi.
Peugeot will also feature its HYbrid4 diesel-electric hybrid offerings, bannered by two innovative hybrid vehicles: the 208 HYbrid FE ‘demonstrator’ and the 2008 HYbrid Air Concept. Each of these HYbrid4 diesel-electric hybrids highlights the brand considerable technological and environmental prowess in low carbon dioxide vehicles.
Not to be absent at the 65th Frankfurt Motor Show are the brand’s flagship RCZ R Sports Coupé that will be rolled out early 2014, and the Onyx Supercar Concept. But Peugeot’s spotlight will shine on its new 308 hatchback, with nine examples are slated to dot the brand’s stand at the motor show.
The five-door compact family hatchback highlights Peugeot’s ambition of creating a vehicle with a refined yet contemporary exterior design and an intuitive PEUGEOT i-Cockpit interior that exudes quality and sophistication.
