Renault teases its new concept car ahead of 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA)

Article by Christian A., on September 5, 2013

The first teaser of Renault’s new concept car was released today and the French manufacturer announced that we will see it next week at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA). Of course, the news of a new concept from Renault is not actually fresh as Carlos Tavares (who left the company last month) told us about a new vehicle back in June at the 2013 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race.

Although the name of the new concept car is not known, Renault says that it embodies the vision of premium motoring. This means only one thing: that this new car actually previews the new Initiale Paris premium brand.

The teaser shows a stylish headlight featuring ‘Eyelight’ technology but we can also spot a chromed front grille. Still, we have no details about this new concept car and this means we will have to wait for the official info and press conference. [source: Renault]
