Hyundai ix-Metro Concept

Hyundai uncovered the its first concept that will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show: the ix-Metro, a new 2+2 hybrid concept described as a compact utility vehicle (CUV). The new concept is actually a preview of the upcoming baby SUV which is set to hit the dealerships within the next two years. The new car features an aggressive design line and shows a new styled grille with incorporated fog lights, LED lights (seen also on the ix-Onic Concept ), 20 inch alloy wheels and heavily sculpted body panels.

Due to the fact that the car comes without a B pillar, the car comes with conventional doors at the front but the rear doors slide out backwards for easier access.

Under the hood we find a -cylinder 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine connected to a six-speed dual clutch box, a 5kw electric motor and 12V battery. The total output is 123bhp at 6000rpm and 116lb ft of torque between 1750 and 4500rpm.
