Frankfurt Preview: Seat shows the Ecomotive Leon, Altea and Altea XL

Seat is adding three new models to its Ecomotive range that will be launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The models Altea, Altea XL, and Leon feature a common-rail 104bhp 1.6-litre TDI engine to improve fuel consumption and a new diesel particulate filter to lower emissions. The models also feature stop-start technology. While Altea and Altea XL have CO2 emissions of 119g/km, Leon manages 99g/km. This is a 20g/km improvement over the model it replaces. All models are fitted with low resistance tires a gear change indicator. Official performance and fuel consumption figures will be announced at the motor show.
