12 Xbox One Bundles up for grabs from Microsoft this Holiday

Article by Christian Andrei, on November 26, 2015

Reaffirming its commitment to give lots of value to its loyal fans, Microsoft’s Xbox division has announced a bunch of offerings for the upcoming holiday season. One of these is the Backward Compatibility feature, which was made possible by a mandatory update that made the Xbox One run in the new and more powerful Windows 10. With the speed of Windows 10, players can have a more exceptional experience in playing the latest games in Xbox One…. as well as the classics that we all loved.

Microsoft is also introducing the new Xbox Elite Wireless Controller as well. For Black Friday, which is fast approaching, consumers have plenty of deals to test their minds on courtesy of the Xbox team. Xbox One bundles have become the norm for marketing new games, and there are a number of bundles for the Xbox One that are available until Monday, November 30, in the United States. How many bundles are available exactly?

Well, take your pick from 12 bundles, all of which start at an affordable price of $299.

First in line is the Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Bundle. This bundle, as its name suggests, is a visual fest themed after the new Halo first-person shooter game. The console takes on aesthetic cues from Spartan Locke and the USNC, including blue metallic accents on the body, Halo-inspired graphics on the vents and the inclusion of in-game sounds.

Turn the console on and be greeted with the sound of Plasma Grenade, while the Eject button triggers the smart-link activation sound bite in the game. At the center of the bundle is a 1 TB hard drive, together with a Halo 5-themed controller.

Aside from the 1TB hard drive that’s central to this bundle, the Rise of the Tomb Raider pack includes a copy of the Xbox-exclusive Tomb Raider: Rise of the Tomb Raider game as well as a copy of the HD remake of the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. It also includes a Tactical Survival Kit Content Pack as well. This bundle comes with a lot of freebies from the Gears of War franchise.

With your purchase of this 500 GB bundle, you get a pass to access the 2016 Gears of War 4 Multiplayer Beta ahead of the rest, as well as a full game digital download of the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition remake of the original game. You also get a Superstar Cole skin for Gears of War’s multiplayer mode, and a 14-day trial to the Xbox Live service. Plus, you get a cool Xbox One Wireless Controller with a 3.5mm stereo jack for headphones.

On the other hand, the Xbox One Fallout 4 Bundle gives you not only a copy of this year’s Fallout 4, but also Fallout 3 as well. The bundle also includes a 1TB hard drive pre-installed into the console.

If you’re a fan of Madden NFL, express your support by grabbing an Xbox One Madden NFL 16 console. You get a 1TB hard drive with a digital copy of Madden NFL 16 already installed. You also get a one-year subscription to Electronic Arts’ EA Access program all fully paid up. Be quick about it though, because the Xbox One Madden NFL 16 Bundle is nearly sold out now.

It’s the holidays, and Microsoft is once again offering the Xbox One 1TB Holiday bundle. This year, the Bundle gives you full game downloads of Gears of war: Ultimate Edition, Ori and the Blind Forest and Rare Replay pre-installed in the 1TB hard drive. The 1TB hard drive gives you a lot of space to add even other great games, so what are you waiting for?

This FIFA 16 Bundle gives you an Xbox One console with 1TB hard drive and with a full game download of FIFA 16. Buyers also get three FIFA Ultimate Team Loan Legends for their copy of FIFA 16 for free! The bundle also comes with a free one-year subscription to EA Access, which gives buyers early access to certain games published by EA in the future. Of course, you can get an immersive audio experience thanks to the Xbox One wireless controller and its 3.5mm stereo headset jack.

LEGO fans will definitely want to get their hands on The LEGO Movie Videogame bundle for the Xbox One, which includes a 500GB console and a digital coy of The LEGO Movie Videogame. Enjoy LEGO-based gameplay with the characters that made it to the film. Over 90 characters are playable, making this a must-have for any LEGO fan!

The Xbox’s Kinect has proven to be a very good tool for health and fitness, and you can take a shot at being fit too with the Xbox One With Kinect bundle. This bundle includes not only the Kinect device for Xbox One but also downloads of three titles, namely, Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon.

Here’s another bundle that’s nearly gone from the racks! The Xbox One Forza Motorsport 6 Limited Edition Console is themed entirely after the excellent racing game of the same name. Rubberized diamond grips adorn the wireless controller, effectively simulating a steering wheel. Completing the experience is a digital copy of Forza Motorsport 6 in the 1TB hard drive included in the bundle.

Another Gears of War bundle, the Special Edition Gears of War Bundle for Xbox One includes a unique 500GB console decked out in Cirrus White, with matching controller. Head over to Walmart and get your copy of this bundle, which is inclusive of a Gears of War: Ultimate Edition digital download, a Superstar Cole multiplayer skin and early access to next year’s Beta testing of Gears of War 4.·

Last, but definitely not the least, is the Xbox One Elite Bundle: equipped with a performance-enhancing solid state drive that raises the processing speed of the console by 20%. The Bundle also comes with full-game downloads of several popular Xbox One games. These include, but are not limited to, Halo 5: Guardians, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Forza Motorsport 6. You also get an exclusive Xbox Elite Wireless Controller, which will take your gaming to the next level!
