This is why you will love Halo 5: Guardians

Article by Christian A., on November 24, 2015

The build-up to the arrival of the new Halo game, Halo 5: Guardians, has been intense. Now that it’s here, let’s take a look at what the new game has in store for the fans of the franchise. One thing, however, that players can look forward to is the fact that there are tons of great things that they can get out of playing the game on their next-gen consoles.

For the first time, Halo’s developers have taken a new approach to the narrative – the story is now told from the viewpoint of two main characters: Master Chief and Spartan Locke, who each have their own teams to command.

What does this mean for players? Well, they get to play two different sets of Spartans, eight in total. This means a total of eight options of personalities and weapon loadouts. Players will have a field day putting each and every Spartan to the test with Halo 5: Guardians.

Firepower has always been central to the Halo experience, and Halo 5: Guardians does not disappoint. All of the weapons that have become fan favorites make a return in this amazing new Halo game. Other weapons have been remodeled as well.

You won’t run out of weapons to pick from when playing the campaign mode! Of course, Halo 5: Guardians is all about fighting, and your new characters are given new killer moves to help you blast through your enemies.

You can corner enemies at close range with the Spartan Charge. You have a Thruster Pack that you can use to fly temporarily. You can also decimate enemies with the cool Ground Pound mode as a melee ability! Halo 5: Guardians also introduces a new multiplayer mode, named Warzone. Warzone will be a big hit among users who love to customize their characters a lot, and for those who dig playing in multiplayer online battle arenas or MOBAs.

This is a gritty, no-holds-barred venue for extreme Halo player vs player combat, so load up and be ready for some amazing first-person shooter action with the Warzone mode. Despite all the changes and additions that the developers have implemented in Halo 5: Guardians, the game still retains that distinctive flavor that people have loved about the Halo franchise.

Hats off to the developer 343 Industries, for accomplishing a seemingly Herculean task of keeping what fans love about Halo into Halo 5: Guardians while still managing to introduce new elements that players will certainly enjoy from the new game.

In a nutshell, there’s plenty to be excited about in the new Halo 5: Guardians game. There are a lot of new characters that you’re certain to love, while the features that have defined Halo all return in force in this new installment. Halo 5: Guardians is now out exclusively on the Xbox One, so grab a copy now!
