Geely Automotive wants to make a bid for Volvo

Geely Automotive confirmed today that it is interested in making a bid for Volvo, in order to buy the company from the parent company Ford. "I believe if Volvo is for sale and Ford has a global announcement, then our parent company will participate." said Gui Shengyue, CEO of Geely Holding Group. He also added that Geely is not interested in taking a stake in Volvo, in fact they want the whole company.
