The new GEMBALLA GT appearance package for the new 991 Carrera Cabriolet takes its appeal to a new level. This is the latest "air-cooled" 911 to offer the well-known flat-six soundtrack. The GEMBALLA GT aerodynamic package features a new, front bumper/spoiler section with three huge cooling air intakes, and big lip spoilers to offer more stabilizing downforce at speed. The new front is visually connected to its rear counterpart through the organic lines of the front spoiler that extend into the deep side skirts. The new rear bumper/valance has a recessed panel that has strong top and bottom horizontal lines that emphasize the car’s width. At each end of the panel, there are upright reflector lights that offer a functional significance to its extremities. In addition, the new composition makes the car have a more three-dimensional look when seen from this aspect. A diffuser is positioned between the distinctive triple outlet pipes of the GEMBALLA stainless steel exhaust system, which is inspired by the design of the exhaust of the iconic GEMBALLA Avalanche of the 1980s. However, the 21st Century GEMBALLA has squared-off features instead of rounded tips. When equipped with the valve-operated sound control feature, the sports exhaust gets a deeper voice and so the car’s soundtrack seems to match its appearance very well. In alignment with the GEMBALLA’s principle of low weight and optimum quality, top grade carbon-fibre made in Germany is used for all the aerodynamic components.
