Gemballa presents new exhaust for Porsche 911 Turbo and GT2

The Stuttgart-based Porsche specialist Gemballa Automobiltechnik GmbH & Co. KG has answered the prayers of Porsche users who are desiring a more powerful sounding sports car with a new exhaust system for the latest models 997 Turbo and GT2. The new exhaust system offers a remarkably strong audio all over the whole speed range. It is likewise technically impressive since it is made from extremely light titanium alloys which is about 40 percent lighter than its stainless steel counterpart and can withstand extreme heat figures.

Since it offers enhanced exhaust flow and come with 200-cell catalysers, engine performance is improved by an additional 20hp (15kW) and 25Nm of torque. Furthermore, the lower speed range has also been dramatically enhanced due to its response behavior. The two Gemballa-end pipes variants are adapted specifically to the model requirements.

Apart from the Gemballa name engraved on them, the two exhaust systems are totally distinct. The exhaust system for the turbo model comes with 80mm double end pipe, while the GT2 equivalent comes with only one oval pipe 125mm x 85 mm in measurement. Pricing for the exhaust systems begin at a whopping 8,980 Euros.
