2010 Toyota RAV4 Facelift
For 2010, Toyota's RAV4 gets a fresh new look. Toyota made changes to its design, combining contemporary urban style with the durability that Europe's original recreational compact SUV is known for. Launched at the Geneva Motor Show, the 2010 RAV4 has had its front-end modified. As a result, the car has an awesome appearance and it is also more aerodynamically efficient. Toyota gave the car a wider grille, horizontal bars and chrome accents that are reminiscent of the Toyota family look established on the latest Avensis, Verso and Auris models.
New headlights, with projector-type low beam lamps, are flanking the grille. To emphasize RAV4's wide track and dynamic appearance, the car gets a new flowing bonnet design. These are qualities that are expressed in a new full-width front bumper as well. For more appeal, the car is given additional chrome detailing around the foglamps and bonnet molding.
In the cabin, we see that the high quality finish is complemented by new leather and Alcantara upholstery. In the UK, the 2010 RAV4 will soon use its Toyota Optimal Drive powertrains, with 2.0-liter Valvematic petrol and 2.2 D-4D and D-CAT diesel engines, with six-speed manual, Mutridrive S (Toyota's advanced continuously variable transmission) and six-speed automatic transmissions. The car has CO2 emissions as low as 150 g/km.
